Klamath County Sheriff’s Office persistence pays off,
On the morning of May 28th ,2013 Sheriffs Deputies apprehended Michael Robert Horn, the man sought in connection to the shooting incident in Sprague River Oregon. On May 23rd, 2013 just before mid-night 911 dispatch received a call for service regarding a man allegedly shooting at another person Klamath County Sheriff Deputies responded and where eventually able to gain access to a residence they believed the responsible to be hiding in. The subject had fled prior to their arrival. Despite the Deputies efforts they were unable to locate the subject that evening.
Deputies continued their efforts to locate Michael Robert Horn over the weekend to no avail. Deputies Mark Borges, Ben Scheen, Shane Mitchell, Brian Bryson, Chief Deputy Martin Rowley, and Sheriff Frank Skrah continued their efforts this morning and were able to locate and arrest Michael Robert Horn. Horn was lodged in the Klamath County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder x2, Menacing x2, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Reckless Endangering x3, and Criminal Mischief I.
Deputies were told that Michael Robert Horn became upset when he believed that his girlfriend was spending time with another man. Horn allegedly armed himself and allegedly shot at a vehicle occupied by Patrick Nelson and Jim Hinkle.
