Consideration of a request to approve a Zone Change from Suburban Residential (RS) to Medium Density Residential (RM) on 1.97 acres.   The subject property is developed with a single-family dwelling.  The applicant desires to divide the property into two parcels and construct a duplex on proposed southern parcel.  Duplexes are not an allowed use in the RS zone; duplexes are permitted in the RM zone.   The subject site is located on the northern end of Kane Street approximately ½ mile north of the intersection of Kane Street and Shasta Way.
