[ARCHIVED] Klamath County finished last week with 165 cases, reports 21 cases this week

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Klamath County Public Health (KCPH) officials report 41 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases is now 4,517.

There are 21 cases to date this week. Weeks begin on Sunday and end Saturday.

On Saturday, there were 20 new cases assigned to the county. In the week that concluded Saturday, Klamath County had a total of 165 new COVID-19 cases.

Deaths now number 66.

Demographics related to case counts can be found in the epidemiology reports found at The reports are generated on Wednesdays and posted when available.

To protect yourself:

  • Get vaccinated.
  • Keep your distance by maintaining six feet of social or physical distancing between yourself and others.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, utilizing hand sanitizer when washing facilities are not available.
  • Sanitize surfaces that are often touched.
  • Avoid gatherings of any size where social or physical distancing is not possible.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Stay home when sick.
  • Wear a clean mask in public spaces, including outdoors when six feet of social distance cannot be maintained.
